Coronavirus 2023 Restrictions have now been lifted but it’s still sensible that you should not travel to Cornwall if any of the household develops symptoms or anyone in your household tests positive & has self-isolate. This might not be one of the travelling party. If someone in the party staying at 14 Channel View starts developing symptoms of Covid-19 it will be expected that they will self isolate until they test negative. Bring some test kits with you! We have had to bring in new rules to protect both yourselves, the cleaner and other clients coming to stay at the house. Please see below: a) Tidying up the house and setting the dishwasher off at a high temperature with all cutlery and crockery used are other necessary requirements to minimise multiple handling. b) The house will be cleaned & prepared as normal but extra resource will be employed to clean & sanitise surfaces to the best of the cleaner’s ability. c) Please bring your own hand sanitiser and/or hand wash. d) We would recommend bringing sufficient supplies to last for the first few days to avoid busy supermarkets and local shortages. If booking supermarket home deliveries online do this at least a week before you arrive. The supermarkets that normally provide this service to St Ives are Morrisons, Sainburys, Tesco, Asda and Waitrose. Other local shops such as Trevaskis Farm will also deliver. There is a very good shop up the hill and just around the corner from the house, less than a minute’s walk. Also a farm shop is open about 5 to 10 minutes drive from the house, it is located on Mill Hill which is the back road on the way down to the A30. The same rule applies to booking restaurants, cinema tickets etc. These could be very busy.
